【Position Overview】
We are seeking a highly motivated and independent Scientist to execute key research initiatives. This role requires significant scientific autonomy, strategic thinking, and the ability to lead research efforts from conception to publication. You will drive the design, execution, and strategic direction of research aimed at developing novel therapeutics, specifically in immunology and cancer biology.
【Key Responsibilities】
Project Leadership: Lead the conceptualization, design, and execution of complex research projects in immunology (cancer/inflammation). Independently manage timelines, resources, and milestones.
Scientific Strategy: Provide scientific leadership and strategic input for current and future research directions. Analyze complex datasets to make critical decisions on project direction.
Experimental Execution: Oversee and perform sophisticated experimental work, including complex immune cell assays (PBMC isolation, activation, cytokine profiling, ADCC, TDCC), molecular biology, and potentially in vivo studies.
Mentorship & Collaboration: Mentor researchers, foster a collaborative environment, and work effectively in cross-functional settings. Grant & Knowledge: Contribute to grant writing/funding applications and maintain expert knowledge of relevant literature and emerging technologies.
【Required Qualifications】
Education: Ph.D. in Immunology, Molecular Biology, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Cell Biology, or a related field.
Technical Expertise: Extensive hands-on expertise in molecular biology, mammalian cell culture, and complex cell-based assays (Flow cytometry, cytotoxicity, immune cell activation).
Skills: Excellent critical thinking, problem-solving, project management, and communication skills (English and Mandarin). Track Record: Proven record of independently leading research projects and strong first-author publications in reputable journals.
【Preferred Qualifications (Plus)】 2+ years of relevant postdoctoral or industry experience. Experience in protein engineering (directed evolution, multi-specific formats) or synthetic biology. Hands-on experience with animal models (IP/IV injection, tumor implantation, blood collection). Experience in antibody drug screening.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Prior drug development experience and has led multiple novel biologics from discovery stage through IND enabling studies.
• Deep knowledge and extensive experience in cancer immunotherapy or inflammatory diseases, particularly immune cell engagers and T cell/NK cell biology.
• Significant experience with in vivo cancer and/or inflammation models. Hand-on experience is a plus.
• Experience contributing to or securing research funding (grants, fellowships).
• Familiarity with structural biology or computational approaches relevant to protein engineering.
