The Laboratory of Autonomous Molecule Design of Assistant Professor Tzuhsiung Yang at the Department of Chemistry, National Tsing Hua University, is seeking one postdoctoral research assistant.
Research Focus: The research involves the synthesis and characterization of air- and moisture-sensitive inorganic and organometallic compounds, with applications in catalysis and energy storage.
Job Responsibilities:
1. Conduct air-free synthesis using Schlenk line and glovebox techniques.
2. Characterize compounds using UV-Vis spectroscopy, gas chromatography (GC), cyclic voltammetry (CV), and other analytical methods.
3. Analyze data and interpret results to guide ongoing research projects.
4. Prepare manuscripts for publication in peer-reviewed journals.
5. Assist in writing research proposals and reports in both English and Chinese.
6. Mentor graduate students and contribute to a collaborative research environment.
7. Perform other tasks that support the development of the research team.
