Responsibilities:
1) Study metabolic processes underlying human diseases.
2) Long-standing research interest in the crosstalk between immune and metabolic signaling, or immunometabolism, and its impact on physiological/pathophysiological processes. Examples of study areas include (but not limited to):
* Immunometabolism in tissue homeostasis (Science 368:eaat3987; J Clin Invest 123:261; Nat Med 18:1665)
* Mitochondrial dynamics in liver metabolism (JCI Insight 7:e150041; Cell Metab 22:709)
* Circadian/metabolic rhythm and metabolites mediated inter-organ communication (Nature 502:550)
* Mitochondrial bioenergetics in inflammatory activation and resolution of immune cells (eLife 9:e54090; Cell Metab 7:485
3) Lab Management.

Qualification:
B.S./M.S. degree in Biomedical/Biology/Life Science- related areas.

Qualification:
1. Have highly motivated and creative attitude, enthusiastic about work, meticulous, responsible, patient, able to work independently and collaborate with a team.
2. Have knowledge of scientific research logic and English reading ability.
3. Fresh graduates are welcome, and having laboratory work experience for more than 1 year is preferred.

Salary:
The standards adopted by Academia Sinica, Taipei Taiwan. Bachelor-level research assistant: starting from NT$37,240/Master-level research assistant: starting from NT$43,624, with salary adjustments based on experience and job performance.
